FOIA Request to Town Of Hamburg Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Central Wisconsin News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024.
As a media organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to these records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. We believe that as media professionals engaged in gathering and reporting news to the public, we are eligible for a fee waiver.
