FOIA Request to Town of Elderon Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
We at Central Wisconsin News have sent a formal request to the Town of Elderon under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., seeking information about new voter registrations. Specifically, we are interested in obtaining a list of voters who registered on November 5, 2024.
As an organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. This includes holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
