"The Mousetrap" has been performed over 29,000 times since its debut in London's West End in 1952. Originally conceived as a short radio play for Queen Mary in 1947, it combines intrigue with humor and unexpected plot twists.
Professor Tyler Marchant, who is directing the production, commented on Christie's work: "Agatha Christie is the master of the murder mystery, and audience members will enjoy the whodunit nature of the story." He encourages attendees to engage with the narrative actively: "There is something delightful about settling into a story where you see the characters are trapped where they are, cut off from others, and the threat is real," said Marchant.
