Wisconsin State Representative Tom Tiffany said that all cases against former President Donald Trump were "politically motivated" attempts to "remove" him from the ballot and should be "dismissed." Tiffany made this statement in a November 19 post on X.

"Every case against President Trump was a politically motivated effort to remove him from the ballot," said Tiffany. "Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, and Jack Smith, your time is up. These cases should be dismissed immediately."

According to the New York Post, following Trump's election win, legal experts anticipate the resolution or dismissal of the criminal cases currently pending against him. The Justice Department is expected to terminate the two federal cases brought by special counsel Jack Smith, which include charges related to Trump’s alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results and his handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. Under longstanding Department of Justice policy, a sitting president is immune from prosecution, leading many legal observers to predict that Trump will avoid jail time.

At the state level, Trump's legal challenges also face uncertainty. The "hush money" case prosecuted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, in which Trump was convicted of falsifying business records, is subject to delays. Trump's attorneys are expected to request further postponements or argue that sentencing should be deferred due to his upcoming presidency. Meanwhile, according to a report by the New York Post, the case in Georgia led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis faces complications amid legal challenges, including potential appeals and calls for a pardon from Trump at the state level.

Tiffany represents Wisconsin's 7th Congressional District and was elected in May 2020 during a special election. With roots in the district, he grew up on a dairy farm near Elmwood, Wisconsin, and holds a degree in agricultural economics from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Before Congress, Tiffany served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and State Senate, focusing on tax reduction, job creation, and Second Amendment rights protection.
