On May 16, 2025, Rep. Tiffany tweeted "NEVER FORGET: The media and Democrats covered up Joe Biden’s mental decline." He accused White House lawyers of pressuring the Department of Justice (DOJ) to alter a report by Hur and claimed that Biden's DOJ concealed tapes from the public. Tiffany described these actions as a "coordinated cover-up" and called for accountability from all involved parties.
The following day, May 17, 2025, he emphasized the need for fiscal change in another tweet: "We have to change the spending trajectory of our country." He criticized what he termed as "The Swamp status quo" and advocated for returning to pre-pandemic spending levels.
On May 18, 2025, Rep. Tiffany expressed his opposition to certain environmental policies with a tweet stating: "Repeal the Green New Scam (IRA)." He argued against subsidies for wind and solar energy and stressed the importance of protecting American farmland.
Tom Tiffany was born in Wabasha, Minnesota in 1957 and resides in Minocqua. Before joining Congress in 2020 after replacing Sean Duffy, he served in both the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate.
