The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is set to host a series of residential camps this summer, focusing on enhancing skills in areas such as fine arts, business, and athletics.

The UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education and Outreach office will provide various experiences for high school students over the coming months. One of these is the WI Business World Camp, which welcomes incoming high school freshmen through graduated seniors. Scheduled from July 20-23, this camp involves students working in small groups to build and pitch a profitable business.

Additionally, the UW-Stevens Point Summer Dance Intensive will offer two sessions: one from Sunday, July 27, to Friday, August 1, for ages 13-15; and another from Sunday, August 3, to Friday, August 8, for ages 16-18. Participants can expect classes designed to explore new techniques and refine their dancing skills. Both residential and non-residential options are available.

The Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES), a teaching and learning center located 17 miles east of Stevens Point on Sunset Lake, offers several residential camps along with day camps and adventure trips for children of different ages. More information about these offerings can be found at www.uwsp.edu/cwes/home/summercamp.

UW-Stevens Point also provides various athletic camps for high school students that include clinics in basketball, tennis, soccer, among others. Details and registration are available at athletics.uwsp.edu.
