Wisconsin Rep. Tom Tiffany utilized platform X, previously referred to as Twitter, to criticize President Biden's economic policies known as "Bidenomics". The post comes just ahead of the president's upcoming visit to the state to discuss his economic policy, which is scheduled for August 15.

"Shopping for school supplies should not be a financial burden," Tiffany said. But in Joe Biden’s America, families are forced to spend an ALL-TIME HIGH this year – totaling an average of $890.07. That’s #Bidenomics, folks."

Biden is set to visit Milwaukee next week, marking his sixth trip to the state since assuming the presidency. During his visit, his intention is to discuss the economy and shed light on the impact of "Bidenomics," which is met with disfavor by a significant number of Americans, and its efforts to rectify the nation's economic state through investments in America. This visit is scheduled just ahead of the first Republican debate, also occurring in Milwaukee the following week, according to NBC 15.

Based on recent surveys, 64% of Americans perceive the U.S. economy as struggling, with 56% expressing uncertainty, and a mere 11% believing it is expanding. President Biden's overall approval rating has seen a significant decline, dropping from 62% in 2021 to 40% this year. Similarly, his approval rating on handling the economy alone has decreased from 60% to 34%. Regarding their financial status, 52% of Americans reported staying in place, while 35% admitted to falling behind. A minority of 13% claimed to be making progress and getting ahead financially, according to CBS News.

"@JoeBiden’s visit to Wisconsin will be nothing more than a reminder that Wisconsin families are worse off now than they were 3 years ago," said Wisconsin GOP, an organization dedicated to ensuring the election of conservatives, on the X platform. "From the dinner table to the classroom, Bidenomics is failing Wisconsin households."

Biden's declining approval rating can be linked to concerns surrounding inflation and issues within the U.S. economy. Despite this, Biden maintains that his economic policies, known as "Bidenomics," are effective. Democrats associate the term Bidenomics with positive aspects like "job creation," "investment in infrastructure," and "support for the poor" and "middle class." Conversely, Republicans associate it with negative implications such as "higher inflation" and "tax increases", according to CBS News.
