Rep. Tom Tiffany has criticized the decision to house illegal immigrants in veterans' accommodations, arguing that it epitomizes an "America last" mentality in the Biden administration's policies. This comment comes in response to a Fox News X post stating, "Boston says it's overrun by illegal immigrants, plans to place them in veterans housing."

"Only in Joe Biden's America would illegal aliens be placed in veterans housing when there are homeless vets on our streets," said U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Wi), Representative, according to X. "It doesn't get more AMERICA LAST than this."

The city of Boston is planning to accommodate illegal migrants in a former veterans housing facility. This move follows a declaration of a state of emergency by Democratic Gov. Maura Healey due to a surge last summer that strained the city's resources. According to Fox News, The Veterans Home at Chelsea is set to transition into a "safety-net site" for migrants starting May 1. Migrants will be required to demonstrate efforts towards self-sufficiency through applying for work authorizations, engaging in English language learning, and pursuing permanent residency.
