Fighting from Start to Finish Fundraiser Will Help Local Cancer Patients

Two-time cancer survivor, Casey Benz of Wisconsin Rapids inspires and gives back to local cancer patients by hosting annual benefit events.

In 2016, Casey was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with liver metastasis and had a six-month life expectancy. During this time, many friends, family, and strangers came together to support him and his fight. From the time of his diagnosis, Casey knew he wanted to give back and pay the kindness forward.

Knowing firsthand the mental, physical, and financial struggles cancer patients and their families face during their battle with cancer, Casey and his wife, Meagan established the Fighting from Start to Finish Foundation last year. Working with the Aspirus Riverview Foundation, their support brings much needed hope and relief to local cancer patients.

On August 27, 2022, everyone is invited to join Casey and Meagan at Hoozels at The Lakes in Rome for a morning 5K run/walk and/or an evening dueling pianos performance. Registration and tickets are available at fightingfromstff.com/events.(Register for the 5K by August 13 to be guaranteed a t-shirt and swag bag.)
