Student housing is now available for Mid-State Technical College students at The Villas at Marshfield. An open house event was held on April 16 for the public to visit the Marshfield Campus and The Villas.

Attendees of the open house toured The Villas and the Marshfield Campus. They also had the opportunity to meet with Mid-State outreach, financial aid, and advising staff to learn more about the college and how to enrol. The Daily Special Food Truck was present, offering meals to visitors.

The Villas at Marshfield are located across the street from Mid-State’s Marshfield Campus, providing a living experience with fully furnished apartments. Each apartment features private bedrooms and bathrooms. Students can choose to live with fellow Mid-State classmates or request a specific roommate. Rent is $499 per person per month, including free parking, cable TV, internet, utilities, a gym, on-site laundry, and access to various residential events and activities.

“We’re excited to offer Mid-State students a convenient and affordable student housing option in Marshfield,” said Dr. Alex Lendved, dean of the Marshfield Campus and School of Applied Technology. “Paired with our growing University Transfer program and strong four-year transfer partnerships, The Villas at Marshfield make it possible for students to stay close to home while still gaining independence and experiencing college life in a supportive environment.”

In addition to The Villas, Mid-State students can opt to live in a residence hall at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.

Interested students should complete an interest form. For more information about student housing and to fill out the interest form, visit mstc.edu/student-housing.
