Mid-State Technical College, in collaboration with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, is organizing the return of the Rafters Meet-and-Greet & Cuts 4 Kids event. Scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, this free public event will take place on Mid-State's Wisconsin Rapids Campus. The event will run from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
The Rafters Meet-and-Greet & Cuts 4 Kids will offer various activities including games, food, and haircuts for children at no cost. The first 300 attendees can enjoy free hot dogs, chips, and a serving of Mid-State's Cranberry Cougar Swirl ice cream. Visitors can engage in games and contests with Rafters baseball players, explore Mid-State’s programs, and obtain autographs from the players as well as mascots Grit and Rosco P. Rafter.
Haircuts for children will be provided by students from Mid-State's Cosmetology and Barber Technologist programs without requiring appointments. Haircuts are available on a first-come, first-served basis until 6:30 p.m.
