U.S. Representative Tom Tiffany, who has consistently secured his seat in recent elections, posted a series of tweets on September 10 and 11, 2025, addressing legal actions related to the 2020 Trump electors, expressing support for Charlie Kirk and students at Utah Valley University, and questioning the University of Wisconsin's response to campus events.
On September 10, Tiffany wrote: "A Democrat judge in Michigan dismissed all charges against the 2020 Trump electors, proving they did nothing wrong. Yet Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul continues his lawfare against Jim Troupis, despite his own DOJ confirming no wrongdoing. I am calling on Kaul to end this political".
Later that day, he added: "Please join me in praying for Charlie Kirk and all the students at the event at Utah Valley University."
On September 11, Tiffany questioned university leadership with: "UW, what are you doing about those who are celebrating a political assassination on your campus? https://t.co/VxpazCSfsU"
Tom Tiffany has maintained strong electoral support in recent years. In the 2024 general election, he defeated Kyle Kilbourn with over 63% of the vote. He previously won elections against Richard Ausman in 2022 and Tricia Zunker in 2020 by similar margins.
