Rep. John Spiros, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 86th House district since 2013, has recently shared his views on topics ranging from youth sportsmanship to legislative efforts and national remembrance through a series of posts on social media.

On September 8, 2025, Spiros commented on the spirit of baseball for children by sharing an anecdote: "Win or lose, baseball should be fun, especially for our children! I am sure we all saw the dad grab a homerun ball at a MLB baseball game and gave it to his son. Until, he was confronted by another angry fan who thought it should be hers because the ball landed closer to her".

The following day, September 9, 2025, Spiros discussed his position in the Wisconsin State Assembly regarding government-funded health services for undocumented immigrants. He stated: "Today, in the Assembly Committee on State Affairs, I supported Assembly Bill 308. This bill would prohibit government-funded health services for undocumented immigrants, a program that has already cost Illinois taxpayers nearly $900 million. I will continue working to ensure that".

On September 11, 2025—marking the anniversary of the terrorist attacks—Spiros reflected on the significance of remembering those affected: "Twenty-Four years ago, nearly 3,000 Americans lost their lives. Every year on 9/11, we honor the courage of the first responders, the resilience of our nation, and the memory of every life lost. #NeverForget".

Spiros succeeded Jerry Petrowski when he was elected to represent Wisconsin’s 86th House district in 2013.
