Parents/Caregivers will learn about the importance of infants being rear-facing, how to select a rear-facing car seat, how to secure the seat and your child in your car, and when to make the change to a forward-facing seat.

Topics include:

  • Car seat selection
  • Installation basics
  • Harnessing basics
  • Avoiding common mistakes
  • Additional resources
While this class is geared toward expecting parents, anyone who transports infants is welcome to attend (grandparents, child care providers, etc.).
