City announces ribbon cutting ceremony and opening for Vandehey Waters Aquatic Center for Friday July 23, 2021.

Issued the following announcement on July 23.

The City of Marshfield is ready to make a splash with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Vandehey Waters. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 23, at 11 a.m., with a short presentation, a ribbon cutting, followed by those who would like a tour of the facility. The pool will officially open to the public at 3 p.m. the same day dependent on weather.

The $7 million facility features three slides, two diving boards, a climbing wall, basketball hoops, a full concession stand, family changing rooms, private changing stalls, a family shelter, a game area, current channel, a grass area, shade structures and plenty of lounge chairs.  Visit the link for a view of the construction process of the pool: Vandehey Waters live view.
