City Of Wausau issued the following announcement on Sept. 13
It is anticipated beginning on Thursday, September 16, 2021, concrete pavement repair will begin on North 1st Street between McIndoe Street and McClellan Street. Lane closures will be necessary to complete the repairs. Southbound traffic will be maintained during the construction. A detour will be posted for northbound traffic. Access to driveways will be maintained. The concrete repairs are anticipated to take approximately four weeks to complete.
