Of the 137,597 citizens living in Marathon County in 2021, 77% were old enough to vote, equating to 105,959 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 53,186 were male, constituting 50.2%, and 52,773 were female, making up 49.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Marathon County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78%.
