WASHINGTON, DC– Today, Congressman Tom Tiffany (WI-07) expressed his dissatisfaction with the second package of Fiscal Year 2024 “minibus” appropriations bills. The package, which includes six appropriations bills covering various areas such as Defense, Financial Services, Homeland Security, Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, Legislative Branch, and State and Foreign Operations, faced opposition from Rep. Tiffany.

In a statement released after voting against the spending bill, Congressman Tiffany criticized the priorities outlined in the bill. He stated, "The Biden administration’s policies are jeopardizing the safety of our neighborhoods and burdening future generations with debt. Instead of cutting spending and reversing course, this $1.2 trillion package funds Biden’s border crisis, a new headquarters for an FBI that has been weaponized against the American people, and the corrupt World Health Organization.”
