Rep. Tom Tiffany, a U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 7th district since 2020, has been vocal on social media about various issues affecting his constituents and broader national concerns. Born in Wabasha, Minnesota, and currently residing in Minocqua, Tiffany has served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate before his tenure in Congress.
On March 6, 2025, Rep. Tiffany expressed concerns over the impact of gray wolves on local communities. He stated that "Gray wolves are slaughtering pets, livestock, and deer across Wisconsin and America." He emphasized the need for their population to be delisted and managed.
In another post on the same day, Tiffany shared testimonies from residents across different counties affected by wolf activities. An Ashland County resident reported that "Lab, Cassie, was slaughtered by wolves," while a Bayfield County resident expressed safety concerns for their child at the bus stop. Additionally, a Wood County resident noted seeing wolves in driveways while driving a school bus.
Later that day, Tiffany commented on political matters concerning gender-specific sports categories. He criticized Senate Democrats for voting against banning men from women’s sports and stated that "It’s President Trump who’s delivering real results."
