The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce recently held its 77th Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet at Hotel Mead’s Grand Ballroom in Wisconsin Rapids. The event, attended by over 240 leaders, celebrated the achievements within the local business community and honored seven award winners across various categories.
"I Heart Art Studios" received the Small Business/Entrepreneur of the Year award. Founded by Becky Winter, a single mother and sole member of her LLC, the studio has grown significantly since its inception in 2016. "I Heart Art Studios proves that size is no barrier to making a significant impact," stated the Chamber.
Paper City Savings Bank was named Large Business of the Year for its exceptional customer service and community leadership. With over a century of service, they continue to innovate with recent renovations and relocations to enhance customer experience.
Chat-R-Box Catering took home the Innovative Business of the Year award. Kathi Havitz leads this enterprise known for adapting to market trends and uplifting both employees and community through innovation.
United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties was recognized with the Community Impact of the Year award for their substantial contributions to local programs and initiatives in 2024, which totaled $488,000.
Julie Siegler was honored as Ambassador of the Year for her dedication and leadership within both the Chamber and broader community activities.
Dan McCarville earned recognition as Business Professional of the Year due to his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to community service in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mid-State Technical College was awarded Member of the Year for its dedication to education and workforce advancement over more than a century. The college actively participates in Chamber events and holds leadership roles within it.
