Rep. Tom Tiffany, who serves in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 7th District, recently made several public statements via social media. Tiffany, who assumed office following Sean Duffy in 2020, expressed his views on a range of issues from local accomplishments to federal policies. His career in public service also includes stints in the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate. Born in Wabasha, Minnesota, in 1957, Tiffany currently resides in Minocqua and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
On March 26, 2025, Tiffany congratulated students from his district, stating: "Congratulations to the students from the Seventh District who brought home a state championship title this winter sports season. Keep up the hard work!"
Later that day, Tiffany criticized Democratic efforts concerning renaming actions, saying: "Democrats tore down statues, renamed military bases, and even tried to replace mother with 'inseminated person' in Wisconsin's budget. But they’re somehow outraged over changing the Gulf of America to its rightful name? Give me a break!"
On March 27, 2025, Tiffany expressed his views on budget priorities under the current administration: "The Biden administration was spending your tax dollars on DEI tomato seed packaging. YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS UP."
