Rep. Tom Tiffany has taken to social media to express his views on current political issues and initiatives. Tiffany, who has been representing Wisconsin's 7th district in the U.S. Congress since 2020, has a background in serving the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate. Born in Wabasha, Minnesota, in 1957, Tiffany currently resides in Minocqua.

On April 9, 2025, Tiffany highlighted his support for President Trump's fair trade and permitting reform agenda. He stated that this agenda could enable the Midwest to "reclaim its place as a global leader in manufacturing" and invited readers to review his latest piece in the Daily Caller.

In a brief follow-up tweet on the same day, Tiffany posted a link to a related article, which can be found here.

Later that day, Tiffany addressed federal funding for sanctuary jurisdictions, specifically mentioning Dane County. He asserted that jurisdictions which "defy federal law SHOULD NOT RECEIVE A DIME of taxpayer money," echoing sentiments expressed by members of the Judiciary GOP.

Tom Tiffany has represented Wisconsin’s 7th District since succeeding Sean Duffy in 2020. His political career began in the Wisconsin State Assembly, where he served from 2011 to 2013, followed by service in the Wisconsin State Senate from 2013 to 2020. Tiffany earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls in 1980.
