Rep. Tom Tiffany, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 7th District, made a series of statements on April 10, 2025, expressing his positions on various political and environmental issues. Tiffany, who has been in Congress since 2020 after succeeding Sean Duffy, used the platform to communicate his legislative opinions and policy proposals.

In a tweet posted on April 10, Tiffany highlighted political contention by stating, "208 Democrats just voted against a bill that requires proof of citizenship when registering to vote. It's apparent they want foreigners voting in American elections." Tiffany shared this viewpoint with constituents, indicating his stance on voter registration and election integrity.

Later the same day, Tiffany commented on environmental resources, mentioning the state's potential for lumber production. He wrote, "Turns out that lumber grows on trees, Chris. We have vast forests here in the U.S., and Wisconsin is prepared to ramp up harvesting." This message seems to address an ongoing conversation regarding natural resources and industry within Wisconsin.

In a further policy-related statement, Tiffany announced his initiative on international trade organizations. He declared, "Today I dropped my resolution for the U.S. to formally withdraw from the World Trade Organization (WTO). American trade policies should be made by American officials who are elected by American voters, not globalists in Geneva." Tiffany's position emphasizes a shift toward nationalism in trade policy.

Tiffany, 65, has had an extensive career in politics, having represented Wisconsin’s 7th District since 2020 and previously served in Wisconsin's state government. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, he currently resides in Minocqua.
