Rep. Tom Tiffany, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 7th district since 2020, shared his opinions on various political matters through a series of tweets on April 16, 2025. Tiffany, who also previously served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and State Senate, expressed his stance on foreign policy and immigration issues.

In a tweet dated April 16, 2025, Tiffany praised the current U.S. president's stance against China, stating, "We finally have a president who’s not afraid to stand up to Communist China. To Beijing, I say: Bring it on." Tiffany's statement underscores his approval of the administration's foreign policy approach towards China.

Later that day, Tiffany questioned the actions of a Maryland Democratic Senator, stating, "So let me get this straight. A Democrat Senator from Maryland is flying to Central America so he can demand the return of a guy from El Salvador who entered our country illegally and was removed for being a member of a designated foreign terrorist organization?" This tweet reflects Tiffany's scrutiny of efforts related to immigration and foreign relations.

Continuing his commentary on the same topic, Tiffany tweeted, "And yet, Democrats want this gang member, who was here illegally, back in our country roaming free in your neighborhood." This statement on the supposed return of a deported gang member emphasizes his concerns on immigration and domestic security issues.

Tom Tiffany, born in 1957 in Wabasha, Minnesota, is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1980. Tiffany resides in Minocqua.
