Representative Tom Tiffany, a member of the U.S. Congress serving Wisconsin's 7th district, recently shared a series of opinionated tweets on pressing issues. Tiffany, who has served in Congress since replacing Sean Duffy in 2020, has a background in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate. Born in Wabasha, Minnesota, in 1957, Tiffany currently resides in Minocqua and holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.

On April 22, 2025, Tiffany expressed concern about foreign trade practices, stating that "American farmers, fishermen, and workers have been harmed by predatory foreign trade practices while World Trade Organization bureaucrats looked the other way." He concluded that it is time for the United States to exit the World Trade Organization. "It’s time to get the U.S. out of the WTO."

Later that day, Tiffany made a statement alleging Democratic actions regarding illegal immigrants. He accused Democrats of not only allowing illegal gang members to remain in the United States but also providing them housing. "Democrats aren’t just fighting to keep illegal gang members in our country, they’re HOUSING them too."

In another tweet on the same day, Tiffany called for the dismissal of judges who he believes are obstructing federal immigration authorities. He stated, "Any judge who helps illegal aliens evade federal immigration authorities should be removed from the bench immediately."

Tiffany has consistently been vocal about his views on immigration and trade, reflecting his legislative priorities and policy stance.
