Today, Congressman Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin's Seventh District announced the winners of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. The competition, established in 1982, allows young artists to showcase their work at the U.S. Capitol Building. This year's theme was "A day in the life of Wisconsin."
"Each year, I become more impressed by the young talent in Wisconsin’s Seventh District. Thank you to all the artists who participated in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition, and congratulations to this year's winners," said Congressman Tiffany.
The first-place winner is Aubrey Cronce from Wausau East High School with her piece titled "Midsummer Spark." Her artwork will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol for one year. As part of her prize, she will receive two round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines to attend a celebration event in Washington, DC.
Anna Rose Czarnecki from Wolfpack Academy took second place with her artwork "Down the Road," which will be displayed in Congressman Tiffany's Washington office. Francesca Germano from Northwestern High School secured third place with "I Went Golfing Yesterday," which will be showcased in Tiffany's Wausau office.
An honorable mention went to Sona Ovezmyradova from Hayward High School for her piece "Dairyland Memories."
