Representative Tom Tiffany, a member of the U.S. Congress from Wisconsin's 7th district, has shared several opinions and legislative actions through social media. Serving since 2020, after replacing Sean Duffy, Tiffany has been vocal on various issues.
On June 2, 2025, Tiffany expressed concerns about national security by stating that "Importing terrorists leads to terrorism." He emphasized the need to reverse what he described as "the Democrats’ mass importation" with "mass deportations."
Later that day, Tiffany commented on a report by The Washington Post regarding a “mysterious drop” in fentanyl seizures at the southern border. He attributed this decrease to "The Trump effect," suggesting that policies from former President Trump were having a positive impact.
On June 3, 2025, Tiffany highlighted an issue related to international trade agreements. He noted that it had been two decades since Congress voted on U.S. participation in the World Trade Organization (WTO). In response, he introduced H.J.Res. 93 to withdraw from the WTO, aiming for a vote to assess support for what he termed as "this globalist bureaucracy."
Tom Tiffany was born in Wabasha, Minnesota in 1957 and currently resides in Minocqua. His political career includes service in both the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate before his tenure in Congress.
