Rep. Tom Tiffany, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 7th district, shared his thoughts on various topics through social media posts on June 6, 2025. Tiffany has been serving in Congress since replacing Sean Duffy in 2020 and has a history of political service in Wisconsin.

In one post from June 6, Tiffany commemorated the anniversary of D-Day, stating "On this day 81 years ago, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy in the largest seaborne invasion in history. All gave some; some gave all. Their heroism and sacrifice stand as a reminder that freedom is not free."

Another tweet from Tiffany on the same day included only a link: ": https://t.co/U3W5AJfetB".

Later that day, Tiffany expressed his views on energy policy by urging Wisconsin's Public Service Commission to reconsider its approach to coal plant closures. He tweeted "Reliable, affordable baseload power starts with coal, natural gas, and nuclear. Yesterday, I urged Wisconsin’s PSC not to fall for the green fantasy by shutting down coal plants too soon. Let’s not become the next California."

Tom Tiffany was born in Wabasha, Minnesota in 1957 and currently resides in Minocqua. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980.
