Rep. Tom Tiffany, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 7th district, has recently expressed his views on several key issues through social media posts. Tiffany, who succeeded Sean Duffy in 2020 and has a background in both the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate, has made clear his positions on energy policy, immigration law, and children's health care practices.

On June 17, 2025, Rep. Tiffany called for the termination of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), criticizing it for allocating taxpayer dollars to wind and solar subsidies. He urged constituents to "urge your senators not to water down the House reconciliation bill" and emphasized the need to "protect American farmland and prioritize energy that works."

The following day, June 18, he addressed immigration policy by advocating for an end to catch-and-release practices. He proposed that Congress should "permanently end catch-and-release and codify Remain in Mexico into law", stressing that "open borders can never happen again."

Later on June 18, Rep. Tiffany commented on child healthcare legislation by highlighting efforts to protect children from certain medical procedures he deems harmful. He noted that while progress is being made elsewhere, "Wisconsin should be next to ban them", criticizing Governor Evers for supporting what he describes as "mutilation practices on minors."

Tom Tiffany was born in Wabasha, Minnesota in 1957 and currently resides in Minocqua. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980.
