Rep. Tom Tiffany, a U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 7th district since 2020, recently shared his views on social welfare, political achievements, and environmental concerns through a series of tweets.

On July 7, 2025, Rep. Tiffany expressed his stance on social welfare programs by stating "It should not be controversial to expect able-bodied adults to contribute to society." He emphasized that Republicans believe individuals who are "30, childless, and capable" should work at least 20 hours a week and criticized those who "milk welfare at the expense of taxpayers."

Later that day, he praised efforts alongside former President Trump and other members of the Freedom Caucus in achieving conservative objectives. In his tweet from July 7, 2025, he mentioned "Alongside President Trump, this group of patriots pushed the OBBB to deliver conservative wins." He quoted Secretary Scott Bessent saying these Congressmen have "reset the center of gravity in spending."

In another tweet on July 7, 2025, Rep. Tiffany addressed environmental issues affecting the Upper Midwest due to Canadian wildfires. He stated "The Upper Midwest has suffered from repeated waves of smoke due to Canadian wildfires." Joining colleagues from Wisconsin and Minnesota, he called for improved forest management in Canada to prevent communities from suffering due to decisions made across the border.

Tom Tiffany has been serving in Congress since replacing Sean Duffy in 2020. Before his congressional tenure, he served in both the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate.
