Today, Congressman Tom Tiffany announced the commencement of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge. The competition is open to middle and high school students in Wisconsin's Seventh Congressional District. Students with an interest in STEM fields are encouraged to participate.
“It is my pleasure to invite all middle and high school students with a passion in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to participate in this year’s Congressional App Challenge,” said Congressman Tiffany. “Each year, I become more impressed by the young intellectuals in the Seventh District, and I can’t wait to review this year’s submissions.”
The winning app from the district will be selected by a panel of judges and may be displayed at the U.S. Capitol.
Since its inception in 2015, the Congressional App Challenge has provided a platform for STEM-focused students to showcase their skills by developing applications for various devices using programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, Python, and others.
Submissions are due by October 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST. Additional details on guidelines are available on Congressman Tiffany’s website. Inquiries can be directed to Dylan Anderson via phone or email.
