Rep. Tom Tiffany, who represents Wisconsin’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing immigration policy, government spending, and election oversight.

On July 17, 2025, Rep. Tiffany wrote: "Some of my colleagues in Congress want to reward illegal aliens with amnesty. No amnesty — only mass deportations."

The following day, on July 18, 2025, he commented on legislative actions taken by House Republicans: "Republicans in Congress just sent a $9 billion rescissions package to President Trump’s desk. This stops your tax dollars from being wasted on Sesame Street in Iraq, foreign USAID handouts, and taxpayer-funded media. We are finally turning the tide in the Swamp."

Later that same day, Tiffany addressed concerns about election administration: "I sounded the alarm on the Madison clerk long before she failed to count nearly 200 ballots—and the media called me a liar. Now WEC admits she broke FIVE laws but doesn’t recommend prosecution. If there’s no accountability for breaking election laws, they’ll keep being broken."

Tom Tiffany has served as the representative for Wisconsin's 7th District since 2020 after succeeding Sean Duffy. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Tiffany was a member of both the Wisconsin State Assembly and State Senate between 2011 and 2020. He was born in Wabasha, Minnesota in 1957 and resides in Minocqua. Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls in 1980.
