Tom Tiffany details border security and farm provisions in legislative update

U.S. Representative Tom Tiffany, who serves Wisconsin’s 7th district, outlined key provisions of a new bill in a series of posts on July 22, 2025. The tweets highlighted measures related to national security and agricultural policy.

On July 22, Tiffany wrote, "Lastly, the bill strengthens national security by funding the border wall, giving DHS tools to carry out deportations, and codifying 28 of President Trump’s America First executive orders." In another post from the same day, he addressed agricultural issues: "For farmers, the bill improves crop insurance and ensures that family farms can be passed on without being hit with crushing death tax burdens." Tom Tiffany has represented Wisconsin’s 7th congressional district since 2020 after succeeding Sean Duffy. He previously served in both chambers of the Wisconsin legislature between 2011 and 2020. Born in Wabasha, Minnesota in 1957 and currently residing in Minocqua, Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
