Rep. Tom Tiffany, who represents Wisconsin’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted updates on legislative actions and economic development efforts via his official social media account.

On July 22, 2025, Tiffany addressed recent federal budgetary decisions, stating, "Last week, the House voted on the first round of DOGE cuts, slashing $9B in woke spending. But we can’t stop there. Congress must continue to ensure your tax dollars aren’t subsidizing waste, fraud, and abuse in our government."

Later that day, Tiffany highlighted a local economic initiative with another post: "The Wabeno Economic Development Act just passed the House! After years of delays with the Forest Service, Tony came to my office for help. This conveyance will ensure Tony’s Wabeno Redi-Mix stays open and continues serving the community for years to come." He followed up by encouraging constituents to learn more about the legislation: "Learn more about this legislation here: https://t.co/qOE3ad3oA0".

Tom Tiffany has represented Wisconsin's 7th District in Congress since 2020 after replacing Sean Duffy. Before his current role, he served in both chambers of the Wisconsin Legislature—first in the State Assembly from 2011 to 2013 and then in the State Senate until his election to Congress in 2020. Born in Wabasha, Minnesota in 1957 and now residing in Minocqua, Tiffany graduated from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980.
