Rep. Tom Tiffany, a U.S. Congressman from Wisconsin's 7th district, used his social media platform over several days in July 2025 to address immigration, labor policy, and agricultural regulation.

On July 26, Tiffany criticized current visa policies for universities: "The H-1B visa exemption for universities has become a backdoor for hiring foreign labor instead of American talent. The CAP Act shuts down the unlimited H-1B loophole abused by higher ed institutions. https://t.co/RZ8ZkjjQ0D"

A day later, on July 27, he commented on federal regulations affecting farmers: "Federal meat inspection mandates are crushing farmers in rural districts like WI-07. @RepThomasMassie’s PRIME Act cuts red tape and gives family farms the freedom to succeed. https://t.co/toHYUgeM2O"

On July 28, Tiffany addressed public safety and immigration enforcement following an incident in Dane County: "An illegal alien with a prior drunk driving conviction killed two teens in Dane County. DHS says Dane County’s sanctuary policies protected the illegal from deportation. We must end these dangerous Democrat policies and cut all funding to sanctuary jurisdictions."

Tiffany's recent statements come as part of his ongoing legislative focus since taking office after winning multiple general elections in Wisconsin's 7th district—defeating Kyle Kilbourn in 2024 with over 63% of the vote, Richard Ausman in 2022 with nearly 62%, and Tricia Zunker in 2020 with about 61% support.
