Rep. Tom Tiffany, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Wisconsin, recently made several posts on social media addressing immigration policy and federal benefits.

On August 17, 2025, Tiffany stated, "President Trump has removed nearly 275,000 illegal aliens from the Social Security rolls. Democrats let them steal benefits from American seniors."

The following day, on August 18, he commented on refugee resettlement policy: "Last year, the Biden administration tried to resettle Palestinians here. I introduced the GAZA Act to stop it. The correct number of Palestinians we should import is zero."

Later that same day, Tiffany posted about public assistance programs: "Giving taxpayer handouts to illegal aliens steals opportunities from America's youth. That's wrong. We must never let this happen in Wisconsin."

Tiffany's statements come amid ongoing debates in Congress over immigration enforcement and eligibility for federal programs. He has consistently positioned himself as an opponent of expanding access to public benefits for undocumented immigrants and has sponsored legislation such as the GAZA Act aimed at restricting refugee resettlement.

Tom Tiffany has held his seat in Congress since winning a special election in 2020 and has been reelected in subsequent cycles with significant margins—defeating Tricia Zunker in 2020 with 60.7% of the vote, Richard Ausman in 2022 with 61.8%, and Kyle Kilbourn in 2024 with 63.6%.
