Mid-State Technical College held a special December 15 ceremony on the Wisconsin Rapids Campus to recognize the efforts of 21 students who completed training through its Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement 720 Academy, which provides the basic law enforcement training required to become a law enforcement officer in Wisconsin.

Governor Evers announces $9 million award to Mid-State Technical College under Workforce Innovation Grant
Mid-State Technical College recently made a sprint just short of the finish line in its campaign to build an Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology and Apprenticeship (AMETA) Center in Stevens Point. Gov. Tony Evers visited the Stevens Point Campus Dec. 14 to publicly announce Mid-State’s award of $9M under the State’s Workforce Innovation Grant and congratulate the College and its partners.

Cost of college went down for resident students at Mid-State Technical College
In-state tuition and fees fell 0.7 percent for 2018-19 at Mid-State Technical College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.
