City of Stevens Point issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.
The Utilities Dept. will close the northernmost westbound lane on US Hwy. 10 between Old Hwy. 18 Rd./Maple Bluff Rd. & Brilowski Rd. October 4 - 8 for storm sewer inlet repairs. Westbound traffic may slow, and traffic may back-up due to the closure.
Traffic control will be moved to the gutter on Friday afternoon to allow two lanes of traffic over the weekend as construction may carry over to the following week.
