Bridging the Digital Divide
Since the onset of the pandemic, there has been the realization nationwide of the necessity and urgency for everyone to have access to high-speed internet. Jason Grueneberg will share what Wood County is doing to encourage broadband infrastructure investments in unserved and underserved areas so that all businesses and residents have access to high-speed internet. He will also talk about some of the grant applications they have participated in, internet speed testing, and possible future initiatives.
Jason Grueneberg is the Wood County Planning & Zoning Director, and leads broadband and economic development initiatives for the County.
