There were 3,626 students enrolled in Marshfield Unified School District in the 2024-25 school year, 3.6% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.3% identified themselves as boys, 48.7% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 85.8% of the Marshfield Unified School District total enrollment.

Marshfield Unified School District covers nine schools within Wood County, with its main office in Marshfield.

Among the nine schools in the district, Marshfield High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,181 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
