Port Edwards School District Education: 435 students were enrolled in schools in 2024-25 school year

There were 435 students enrolled in Port Edwards School District in the 2024-25 school year, 2% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 53.1% identified themselves as girls, 46.9% as boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 85.1% of the Port Edwards School District total enrollment.

Port Edwards School District covers three schools within Wood County, with its main office in Port Edwards.

Among the three schools in the district, Port Edwards Education Heuer Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 202 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
