Mid-State Technical College is inviting area high school students and graduates and their parents to its Wisconsin Rapids Campus to eat tacos, explore program areas, and get information on paying for college and the admissions process. The “Taco ‘Bout It” tour event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Participants will learn about Mid-State through a lively, interactive tour and have the opportunity to apply to Mid-State for free as well as get connected with college resources prior to high school graduation. Mid-State’s financial aid and scholarship teams will also be on hand to provide an overview of how to pay for college.
"We are excited to offer this event for potential students and parents to see all the things we do here at Mid-State Technical College,” said Dean of Recruitment & Admissions Jackie Esselman. “Our hope is to inject a little extra fun into learning about the admission process, paying for college and our tour of special areas of campus—because who doesn't love tacos?"
Interested students are encouraged to apply by Oct. 1 at mstc.edu/taco-tour.
