Two former congressmen will visit the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point this month to share their experiences in a free community event. The program, known as Congress to Campus, aims to foster honest dialogue and civic education by bringing together former members of the U.S. Congress from both major political parties.

The College of Letters and Science at UW-Stevens Point will host a forum featuring former Congressman Peter Kostmayer (D-PA) and former Congressman John Faso (R-NY). This event is scheduled for Monday, February 17, from 6-8 p.m. It will take place in the Dreyfus University Center Laird Room, located at 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point.

Although the event is free, attendees are encouraged to register in advance to ensure seating availability. Refreshments will be provided during the event.

The Office of the Chancellor, Division of Student Affairs, UWSP College of Letters and Science, and the Menard Center for the Study of Institutions and Innovations are sponsoring this initiative. More details can be found on their website: https://www.uwsp.edu/event/congress-to-campus/.
